It's a suburban area of San Diego, the small town of Poway. At least I guess it's incorporated. Even if it's not, it still qualifies as a bedroom community
Poway is incorp'd but not Sabre Springs. Poway is a great town. Very quaint, quiet, no crime. We even have Poway Day on 9/14 with a little parade.

She is a middle-aged housewife who had been married to
a high powered attorney. They had 4 kids. Husband Dan
Broderick tossed her over for a "younger model".
Dan make life for Betty a living hell throughout the divorce and she got enough of it one day & in the early
morning hours she went into his home and shot Dan & Linda
(the new bride.)
The entire story is on the court tv website. There was a made for tv movie about the Brodericks. It's usually shown
on Lifetime TV. Meridith Baxter played Betty Broderick. It's actually a two part movie. Very long story.

Here's another lurker who thinks DW is innocent...at least they haven't proven to me 'guilty' beyond a easonable doubt... Well then, you might want to check into getting yourself into the betting pool. I have 10:00 AM this Friday, but I'm now thinking it will probably go past that.

"So far, everything the jury has been requesting, are the things Feldman asked them to take a look at."
That must be a good sign for the defense!

The most difficult thing for me on the whole Elian issue was not so much the ferocity of the FR threads, but the maddening indifference in co-workers and family to the Federale machine gun raid of a small ranch home's bedroom closet -- a machine gun in the face of a small orphan boy -- all under false colors and warrants. That chilled me to that slice of corporate cubicality in the mutual fund biz.

I hate Janet Reno so much. As much as I hate the clintoons. Jesus tells us we're not supposed to hate, but I can't help it.
Yeah, I know ... off topic. But you DID bring up little Elian. I still grieve over that kid being KIDNAPPED AT GUNPOINT. Think of the trauma!

They? Who they? The aliens, obviously. Sooner or later, they get all of us.

That morning was the morning I joined Free Republic. I couldn't believe I was seeing an armed US agent invading a US Citizen's home.

Alisasny, I can PROMISE you there WAS a rabid hostility on those threads.
I pray the child will rise to be a leader in Cuba one day, and a good one.
