Very interesting reading that I have just completed about the cap that the perp wore. The initial reports were that the perp wore a cap. The national alerts that went out later that day said a white baseball cap, and by the next day, the SL Tribune was reporting a white baseball cap also. I think I need to get a life... :)

This is likely to upset those who enjoy blaming the SLCPD for each and every inconsistency.

Well, I had just assumed it was a white baseball cap from the get-go, and it was a cap. When it morphed into a white baseball cap, the SLPD should have said something to correct the info right up front. Hmmm, hindsight is great, isn't it?
