You don't know how hard it is for me to part with books! After all, these have only been collecting over the 14 yrs, I've lived here. And considering the several, Amazon deliveries I get, per year......well, you get the picture. A large part were textbooks, (for some reason, I'd accumulated over 5 different Calculus books, and that is a subject, I'd like to forget!)

Compound this problem, with the fact that I'm also a genealogist, and you see the difficulty I have with parting with "things". I'm in a purge mode right now, because I'm moving, but I'm also trying to hold on to the lasting things!

We have un-numbered thousands of books. One day I'll make book shelves.

I'm glad you like The New Professional Chef book. I use it a lot. It's very handy.

Ooops, post 172 is for you too... I have a horrible time parting with books. My brother-in-law swore he would never help me move again after the last time, 25 boxes of books. And I have lots more now...
