Warning to your daughter from my daughter: PICKPOCKETS.

Make sure she has a money belt to keep her traveler's checks and passport in. My daughter got into a fracas with a gypsy type guy in Paris...had to shove him away. (This I found out about AFTER the fact.)

BUT, my daughter loved Paris and wants to go back. It is a beautiful city. I will keep your daughter in my prayers.

Her school has advised her to do most of her monetary transactions via credit card. I think that's good advice, except she'll have to HANG ON TO THAT CREDIT CARD.............

p.s. She won't be staying in Paris, she will be in Avignon. But she IS planning to visit Paris..............
