However, I noticed today in our local paper in "Letters to the Editor" that the American people were not happy about it. This even included DEMOCRATS who said it was a disgusting and revolting speech.Well, considering the X42 and mcawful's whole personas are revolting and disgusting, it is not unexpected that anything they produce will also be both revolting and disgusting. These people are lower than whale poop on the bottom of the ocean (and a whole lot less useful!)
I truly hope this comes back to bite them like the rabid RATs they are...
The American people are no where near as naive and dumb as they think/hope they are.

I hope you're right. However, I've
never seen such outrage shown in this particular paper (owned by the NYSlimes) about
anything a Democrat did or said.
You know that old saying, "What goes around comes around?" I hope that whatever it is that comes back around hits them with a vengeance. ;-)

Welcome back! That doesn't surprise me about the speech. One thing I noticed, after looking at the transcript, was that McAuliffe had borrowed whole phrases from President Bush's convention acceptance speech. This was an effort to needle Bush, or I should say, bait him.
I can just see UOX42 gloating as he gives McAuliffe the speech, saying "Heheheh. This'll really get that frat boy."
It is my personal opinion that the Dope from Hope Who Loves to Grope (thanks W.) is consumed with jealousy of the man who replaced him. He cannot stand the President's close family and KNOWN, repectable father, his much beloved mother, his loyal wife, his two beautiful daughters, his close siblings who are achievers in their own right...
Every time he sees President Bush he is reminded of all the things he is NOT, including PRESIDENT.
Armchair psychology moment now over.

Thanks ISB. I'm taking notes on all of the suggestions. It seems like I'll spend the next year or two just putting together menus. LOL! But it's fun work.

Chairman...so the final decision to drive to Jax is still in debate mode? The decision is not in "debate" mode, but is dependent upon another event happening - acceptance of my wife's letter of intent. If the LOI isn't accepted, there is no premise for a visit, so it doesn't go down. Her current bid price is slightly below the asking price for the property. Her current bid, however, is a raise without an intervening counter in a very short time frame - if I were the seller, I wouldn't budge on my last position. I don't think this will go through.

"Every time he sees President Bush he is reminded of all the things he is NOT, including PRESIDENT."You mean, kinda like this?

Good point, Miss Marple. ;-)

CaL used the forum for her own purposes, IMHO. I won't say more than that.

It's nice to be here with
you, too, Holding!!
Thank you for asking about my pup ... he seems perfectly fine ... no more episodes. The vet said that, while she has never seen any data regarding Weeping Willow trees causing adverse reactions in dogs ... she's never seen any that says it doesn't, either.
His blood work came back with some spiked numbers ... I've my fingers crossed ... he's got his *sparkles* back, though ... *grins*
Ok ... moving the soaker hose ....

I always got along with her......but hey I get along with everybody.....:-)

...I've never seen such outrage shown in this particular paper (owned by the NYSlimes) about anything a Democrat did or said.Maybe there is some hope. Not only was X42 the worst president in the history of this country (followed closley by jimmah cartah), he is also the worst EX-President this country has ever known!
To: Dog
I take it you weren't involved in the fracas during the primaries. Well, enough said. You do get along with most folks, Dog, and that is an admirable trait.
On another note, I am here because after driving to the pool, I discovered that since school is starting in our township at the end of the week, there are no lifeguards available, so the pool won't open until 4PM. This is too late for us to go, as I will need to be starting dinner. Therefore, we are done with pool visits unless the kids come down on a weekend day.
Rain is in the forecast for this evening.
When we got back from the pool, I had to get a bunch of stuff out of the garage for the Salvation Army. I think the gentlemen were not pleased to see my Bush/Cheney sign in the garage, but I guess they need to see that Republicans give to charity as well.
Back later...I am going to look at the news threads.
To: OneidaM
Yes, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you make these decisions. :)
