Her Royal Littleness, The Miss Priss II (aka Missie) just had her Sweet Sixteenth Birthday on the 26th July. Well that is the day we found her having been mauled by a chow and near death...I doctored her following the vet care she got for a week back in 86 and I have been her person ever since.. She is my little mother when I don't feel good.

She is doing much better today but I think her antibiotic needs to be switched as she got the runs yesterday after the 2nd dose. I won't have the GI upset blues for her.

She will start some med for hyperthyroidism in the next couple of days once it is compounded for her. Then she will have blood tests every 2 weeks until it is certain her dose is correct. And then I think every six months after that a panal to check her values will be done just to keep track of her. I think she will be fine. She really never has been sick..except for a furball that metamucil took care of and then she had a very early skin cancer removed this last Feb. and has been fine ever since..She is a trooper.

By the way.for all you pet owners out there, I found a wonderful resourse for information on conditions with some pictures too..it is

www.lbah.comm I found it on the google search It covers in easy to understand language info on health concerns for animals. It is the Long Beach Animal Hospital.

Got to head to the gym...BBL

Uta Neidhard, curator of the collection, visits an exhibition room of the Old Masters Painting gallery in Dresden, eastern Germany, Friday, Aug. 16, 2002. More than 4,000 exhibit items, normally are stored in a basement of the building, were carried to one of the higher floors after the nearby Elbe River flooded the Zwinger building, where the gallery is located.
