Quite spirited! Have you folks gone through each of the forensic environments using the jury instruction regarding circumstantial evidence to winnow down the evidence and possibly breaking the links between each environment? If I were on the jury, I would like to go through each piece of evidence.


Environments:
Van Dam house – any evidence? Does this break a link in crime path, actually the genesis of any linkage?


Westerfield house – what evidence can be excluded here:

Blood here?
Did blue fibers have a source?


Westerfield SUV – exclude orange fibers (no source). Does this break the link to MH at Shermans?

DvD hair – why not here?
Layla hair – why not here?
Blood here? If not, why not?

Its not one by one. Its total. Does all the evidence point to guilt or to some innocent scenario.

You are making the same logical error in thinking that everyone who thinks Westerfield is innocent is making. You have to take all the evidence and testimony as one and then make an inference. You don't make an inference for each piece.
