Very good point. I got that same impression from their behavior Saturday morning, with Damon's "Oh well, we still have the two boys to raise" and their utter lack of worry. But it might have started on Friday.

Theories:

1) I've also thought, like you, that Friday period was when the VD's did something to Danielle, if they did.

2) Then I considered Samantha's killer - too many things are alike in both cases. She very well could have gotten up while the drunken addict perverts were still asleep, taken her backpack & gone to the park, where she could have been snatched.

3) The final theory I toss around is that it's the international pedophile ring that has members right there in the same town. They had the resources to keep Danielle alive, then killing her when the heat came down on them for other pedophilia acts/rapes.
