What troubles me is exactly what you wrote..only because of Samantha's Mother blaming the Jury for letting the man go, who killed her child. The Jury will be influenced by this...how can they not be?

No hard feelings spectre. Emotion and passion on any given subject will sometimes spawn hyperbole and invective. Let's hope the jury takes Judge Mudd's instructions to heart, that, unlike us, they are not to be defenders nor advocates for either side.
