My observation is the Westerfield supporters here took the cue from defense (that he's now denying) and ran with the Neal was lying and does Neal have an alibi line.

Could it have been Duseck projecting the image of Danielle in the motorhome on the bed grasping a cabinet hard enough to leave her finger prints. Projecting the image that her head was being banged into the blue fabric headboard. Then Duseck says, "Where were those fibers found on Danielle?" "In her hair."

That a pretty horrible image.

If cable, they are notoriously unsecure. Unless DW had some sort of firewall, anyone on his cable node could rather easily access his computer. It takes a little computer rexpertise, say the kind you could get at Qualcomm.

Of course, if he didn't have cable, or had a good firewall, you can disregard all of this :-)

NOW, for those posters that are interested.

I thought DUSEK did paint a scary emotional picture for the jury.

He presented all of the evidence and how it related and drew a picture in the juror's heads of what happened.

Many of the jurors will be affected by this.

Many will have a tendency to ignore the fact that no proof was provided for motive/method.

Just a pretty watercolor picture that you are supposed to look at and go, I SEE THE DOGGY.

In that closing arguments are just for that purpose, with what DUSEK HAD TO WORK WITH, he did a decent job.

DId you get to hear FELDMAN. He might as well have been copying the description from your website. "STEALTH Ninja Dave", snuck in to a dark house he was unfamiliar with, unlocking doors, but leaving no prints, past the dog (invisible and smellless), up the stairs, down the hall, past Damon lying in bed with the door open watching TV, grabbed Danielle, carried her out past the boys rooms, past Damon, past the dog, left the house, and left PRINTS/HAIRS/FIBERS/DNA/ or SCENT.

NOR did the defense make any inference or suggestions that Neal had any part in the murder, before, during or after. However, Dusek tried several times to "imply" to the jury otherwise. Saying things like, "David Westerfield tried to blame his son, Neal, for the porn......." blah, blah, blah.

I thought that was an awful stretch, even for Dusek.
