In college, no one believed me that the US had a WW2 ace named Bong. But i read a book about him and was surprised at the lack of knowledge and interest in WW2 in the 70's.

Can you shed some light on the goings on between Turkey and Stalin at the end of WW2. It has always surprised me that the the Soviets did not move into Iran right after and take the warm water port that they always wanted.
