I have been considering this...I need a laptop for my trips away from home....I hate being away from the internet for days...that is the biggest drawback to our little trips...so I have been meaning to talk to Andy about this....My birthday is in Oct, and perhaps if I drop hints, he will catch on....

He is the one he bought my original computer, 4yrs ago at Christmas...I had been talking and talking about getting one, and he figured I would stall around and might never get to it...so he went on ahead and bought it...

And then I was yakking about having a Disc player(cant think of what they call them) to replace our old VCRs...so last Christmas that is what he bought us, figuring again, that we would never get around to it...

So I should start dropping hints now, about having a laptop...my birthday is in Oct. and then comes Christmas, to maybe by Christmas he will have gotten the message...

It would be fun to have the laptop in the motel, and could give out current reports of our trip...and chat with everyone when BigDom was at a sports event...

Well, nutz....time to take my bath, get dressed, and get beauuutiful, for the big trip...

Have a good time without me, I shall be thinking of you all, and wondering what mischief you are all getting into without me...

I shall store up in my mind, those things we do and see, and present a full report...of course, its possible this trip will be deadly dull, no interesting characters, no memorable incidents occuring...

Tho, my aunt Helen says, I always do seem to meet odd folks and have adventures, no matter where I go...when I used to travel the Greyhound Bus in the beginning, when I was going back and forth to California, to care for my parents, almost every trip I made on the bus, I had odd adventures...my poor aunt, says all she ever got from riding the Greyhound was a sore body, but I always seemed to have wild adventures on the Greyhound...

So should my trip to Seattle actually prove to be dull, I shall regale you with my various Greyhound Bus adventures...

If my Seattle trip proves to be an adventure, I will store up the Greyhound stories for another time...needless to say, I love Greyhound...

hi cookie
while I was at jury duty
the girl next to me in one of the jury waiting rooms was tapping away at her laptop
so maybe there is both battery and electric powered ones
loddy, most people who go to hotels these days are there on business
they all have computers with them
why do u think if andysmom has laptop she wont be able to get it to work
(I know nothing bout these matters)

I think it would be fun for her (and us)
her hubby likes goin' to seattle with her
she enjoys her trips and making her hubby happy
it might be fun for her to give us up to the minute reports, and check in with us while she's there
rofl if Dizzy knew how to do computer too
she'd be happy girl
she'd send him kisses and pets on dizzymail
Love, Palo
