My dad died in 1989....he was interested in everything, and was an avid reader and amateur investigator into everything...he would have been thrilled with the internet, and the ability to find anything and everything online...

But alas, he died, before the internet took off...but had he been alive when the internet was taking off, mom would have had to pry him offline...he would have never left voluntarily....LOL....he loved information, of any sort...and loved to read and to learn...

My dad loved to learn, also. He owned a successful business and was completely devastated when my mom died.

Our Dads would have been friends had they known each other here. They are probably friends right now. :)

you know andysmom I bet my dad too would have been internet addict
he also loved to read and learn stuff
but more than anything he loved communicating
I just dont see how he could be on FR with his politics
and I heard the left wing sites are deadly dull (with no sense of humor)
