Yes, those memories of our parents are so dear, and treasured...it seems to me, that those memories provide a link from out parents to us, to our children, that hopefully they will pass down...a link to the past, that makes our ancestors more than just names, it makes them so real to our descendants, that never knew them in person...

In my mind, thats so very important, family continuity.....
