I dont often rant on, about politics, but just every so often I get a weed up my butt, and off I go...thanks for your kind remarks...

If anyone ever watched 'Band of Brothers' on HBO(if you have not seen it, should it ever come on again, watch it, its grand)you will remember that early on, there was one fella who was a regular SOB and all the men in his unit hated him....but he was in charge...however, the higher ups, relieved him of his duties with this unit, and he did not go overseas with them...but there was one point during the training time, when this SOB told a man in his unit, that he was due a salute, because even tho he was hated as an individual, they must salute his uniform...

A few years later, this SOB actually runs into one of the men formally under his command, a man who now outranks the SOB...the SOB sees him, and does not salute him...he reminds the SOB of his own words...you are saluting the uniform, not the man inside the uniform...much as the SOB did not want to give the salute, the tables were turned, his words came back to haunt him, and he had to salute a man he had tried to ruin...

Band of Brothers, had many lessons to teach us all...

Ah, time to wake BigDom and get him started on his day...oj and yogurt coming up...followed by hot coffee....followed by a big juicy steak, medium rare....need to get those 'bodily fluids' moving, so he can work, work, work...

And Dizzy is complaining that he has not had enough attention...

Ah, these men of mine, so demanding...
