I found Dannion Brinkley by taking out book by him in new age section of public library
under near death experiences
he was someone who liked to fight, and wound up in special forces
when he was in Heaven he was given life review
he watched everything he did from point of view of other people involved
he was horrified at seeing his ruthlessness
interestingly enough, his guide in Heaven had different take
he realized Dannion was high energy, had initiative, and great courage and boldness
(just had always used it for destructive purpose)
he encouraged Dannion to use it for positive purpose when he returned to the world

I found the whole book interesting, altho one of the most interesting parts
is where Dannion was shown the developments which would take place in the world in following 20 years
(his near death experience was in '70s)
since I read the book 20 years later I was able to verify if the things happened

also interesting was when Dannion returned, and was in hospital bed from his injuries, he was able to read people's minds
most of the people who visited him (he read their mind) thought he was a ba#$ard
his NDE had transforming effect on him and he has worked to help people ever since
I have to admit I love the guy
