I watched Dr. Cyril Wecht on Fox the other night. He said this was an inside job..period. He has helped solve many similar cases and he said that she is dead and that there is no way there wasnt some kind of inside assistance given..SO now that we have a professional opinion..I rest my case.
I think many would rather believe this crime was committed by an ugly rat like Ricci, not an upstanding church going person like Ed Smart.
I'd rather face the truth.

To me, Ricci was an insider. He knew the family, had worked for them, and was very familiar with the layout of the house.

Which kinds of inside help was Wecht referring to? Is it always, in Wecht's experience, someone who actually resides in the house? Or can it be someone like Ricci, who is familiar with the floor plan and may have a key?
Also, Wecht says he has helped solve "many" similar cases -- and I was under the impression that the abduction of a child from her bedroom is a crime which rarely occurs.

Well, what did he suggest for a motive for the inside job? Does he think it was the parents?
To think Ricci couldn't have done this is absurd. He admitted to burglarizing a neighbor while they slept. And what did the good doctor have to say about the Jeep with the white mud and the bugs and the pine needles that the ugly rat Ricci, not an upstanding church going person like Ed Smart, returned to Moul's garage on Jun 8?

And how do you think Ed accomplished this?
