Guennie re Kennebunkport ... actually $109/night/double sounds pretty reasonable for that very popular area, IMO. Do you belong to AAA (American Automobile Association)? They have Tour Books for every state and I always pick one up for the areas we'll be traveling through. They list accomodations and the AAA rates, as well as points of interest. If you don't belong, I could check their website for you, if you'd like.

Yes, Dog, I checked the Colony.......I checked a whole bunch of places.
...Seems like the Colony was waaaay too expensive, or they required 2 nights on the weekend, or something.
