After checking one hotel/inn/B&B after another, this was reasonable.

It's not high quality like The Colony or other places, but hey, it's for one night.

I use to say I can stay ANYWHERE for one night, till we came through this small town in ****, and it was late at night, and the pickins were few....

...that's a place I insisted they bring a new set of sheets, and put the kids on top of them....

...I slept in the chair!....UGH!

I don't know where hubby slept, I was so put out with the place :^)

Well, Lorena, we are leaving to go to Hilton Head, SC tomorrow. My whole family will be there.....my parents, brothers, sister, spouses and my little precious niece. Who, btw, has decided that her favorite word is "IDJIT". My sister is looking forward to getting a break from her, my boys will be quite entertained by various uncles (3 + 1 vivacious Aunt) so I am certain that I will get some rest and relaxtion.

As for Katherine Harris, I really have to say that I am shocked as well. I just can't believe that she could be that naive to not have looked UP the rules of elections (being that it falls under HER job title) and the only thing that I can think of is that either someone deliberately did not inform her or she just plain didn't know. Either way, it surely does not look good for her. I think it casts a rather poor light on her and it will give the Democrats much fodder to use against her in the upcoming election. We all know what she went through during the 2000 Election Fiasco. I must say that I am truly disappointed in this development. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. :-)

Oh yeah, and btw....thanks for offering to take the boys. They're being very good today, helping me clean and such things. Jackie is washing the cabinets and doing an outstanding job of it, I must say. :-)

I forgot to tell you guys the other day that my Real Estate Agent called and told me that she has a "hot" prospect for the house. Turns out that he had been working with another agent from a different real estate firm, so she told him that he would have to call him and tell him that he wanted to see the house. So, he did and then his agent called my agent and said that this guy has been looking at our house since it went on the market, but couldn't afford it until we went under 160,000. He absolutely loves it (so they say) and his agent told mine that he thinks he will have a contract by Saturday afternoon. He's coming to see it at 1:30pm Saturday. My agent told me to keep the cell phone on. :-) I guess he stopped looking about a month or so ago because he had his heart set on this area but could not find anything in his price range. So with any luck....:-)
