I am spending countless hours trying to find a reasonable place to stay there for just ONE night.

We don't want to spend an arm & a leg for just ONE night.

I must be hitting the wrong buttons on Google, cause all I get are expensive B & B's and oh so richly priced inns....

I'm seriously considering the Franciscan Guest House....!!

Seriously!....Frommers recommends it as a very reasonably priced place....

..but the whole idea seems so strange.

I called the number and got the Friar himself, and then he connected me to Father Gabriel....

.....Just one reasonable night in Kennebunkport.........

Anyone have ideas???

This is the jumping off place for our trip planned.....

...and I have a reservation in Lunenburg, and PEI.....just need one in Kennebunkport.

BTW...do you live anywhere near where the standoff is with the ex-policeman that has I-71 shut down on both sides? I heard that there was a dead body at his house and that he had 3 kids with him but he let them go? I wonder if it was his wife that was killed.
