Neal went with his mother to do some errands afternoon and didn't get back until five o'clock. It IS possible that Westerfiled actually got back to the house BEFORE Neal got there to check the doors. He and his mother went to Michaels (I can spend hours there) and stopped other places before going to WD house.

Neighbors testified to talking to Wd around 3:30. Neal and mother only made one more stop, bookstore before getting home at 5:00.
