Tell Walt and Elmer all you do before breakfast is smooth your cot and shine some things -- no hogs to slop, feed to pitch, mash to mix, wood to split, fire to lay. Practically nothing.

LOL! Ok. I'll quit complaining about ironing every day.

I have to disagree with Zeke about breakfasts though. I had "midnight" chow tonight ($1.60), and had lots of bacon, country-fried taters, and this wonderful baked egg and stuff concoction. Much to the dismay of my classmates, I slathered the whole mess in Louisiana sauce, and begged some jalapeno slices off of one of the line cooks. He also gave me the recipe for the baked egg concoction. I'll have to fiddle with the proportions, his recipe serves 100.

I have to admit that I got a really big kick out of that e-mail.

Your "midnight" chow sounds great - especially those country-fried taters. One of my favorite things.
