Something that is seldom mentioned in these discussions it seems is the fact that God calls homosexuality a sin, an abomination. Now that, for me, is enough because the nature of God is NOT to make us in such a way that we have to commit certain sins because it is in our genes. Most of the 'Sins' committed in this country are a result of alcoholism, and alcoholism is known positively to be a genetic condition.

Hi Swerve - can't say that I agree that alcoholism is genetic - it is behavioral. A predisposition to intolerance or addiction or allergic reactions to various substances may be genetic, but voluntary consumption of alcohol is a choice one makes and then repeats even after the adverse personal effects are known, until the compulsion eventually takes over the decision-making process. It may be a similar progression to that of "homosexuality" - but it begins with a choice.
