Cyn - thanks for the post - but it still doesn't tell us where on her neck the clump was - how was the necklace positioned on her neck? We should not assume the clasp part was in the back in the proper position - cuz we've all seen the photos where it is off to one side in the front.

I don't remember ever seeing a clasp
my experience is these are just springy loops that the
kid streches over their head then pulls hair up and threw

one thing i have wonedred about most i have seen tend to last about 3-4 weeks then tear up and the kid screams till you get a new one this one is supposto be how old??
