I just found it almost unbelieveable that the writer would actually think that his readers would be interested in the legal community's view of legislation in which they have a clear vested interest. Not to mention that as a group, lawyers views on many issues are at odds with those held by most Americans (or at least that's my perception), so why quote them about the merits of a potential new law??
