Well, you are speculating that a body could not mummify in 2-3 days despite expert testimony to the contrary.

This whole mummification stuff is a straw man for the prosecutor. A body does not completely mummify in 2-3 days. If it did, there would have been no insect infestation, especially by blow flies. Even if the body had been partially mummified in 2-3 days, it certtainly would not have taken animals 10 days to open a fresh wound that would attract the blow flies.
