I admit I have no proof, but I would suspect that those vests are close weaved, and nylon is a much better material for that application. I also suspect that the fibers that are in evidence are not smooth and curved, but are full of little kinks. Again, one of many of the unanswered questions in this trial. My limited knowledge of acrylics is that it is fine for fill for volumn and appearance, but it is not the material for strength unless it is alloyed with other threads. A thread for a warning vest would be chosen for weatherproof, durability, and sustainability of brilliance.

For the record, I searched every transcript for ever day of the 23 posted days and see nothing that matches the word or partial word "hug". The testimony that anyone hugged Danielle, except for the father after she was tucked in bed, is not existant.

So, i am back to square one. How did these fibers get on Danielle assuming she at least bathed regularly and would not have been near Westerfields motor home in recent past ?
