It's not a matter of not caring that a little girl was killed. I'm sure everyone here will agree that they need to convict whoever killed her and fry them, the same way they should do Avila and the guy in St. Louis. We are in disagreement in this case about who did it.

If Dusek had shown that there was evidence David had been in Danielle's room or the Van Dam house or that there was DNA under her nails, this would not be a split forum. I wouldn't be on the side of the fence that I am had Dusek delivered.

A number of posters had questions about his arrest and since the trial began, more questions have been raised. Unfortunately there are no answers. IMO, we will never know the truth of what happened that night. In the end we are mere mortals and the final judgement is not ours.

Well said, Jaded. I have said from the beginning, I pray the person(s) responsible for Danielle's death will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. And my position has not changed whatsoever.

Thank you for the post. I'm completely on the opposite side of what is normal for me. I worked in dispatch for a police dept. and still am haunted by things I heard and saw. The officers I worked with were like family. What they dealt with daily was unbelievable. If I thought DW was guilty(proven) I would gladly applaud his execution. Because I have doubts about HIS guilt does not mean that I don't care deeply about the death of little Danielle. And it gets on my last nerve to be accused of not caring! End of rant.
