Did you utter that word after reading your own posts? You, madam, are truly unbelievable, if you do not understand how these events will impact a non-sequestered jury. It really doesn't matter whether or not you think Westerfield is guilty; the poster was only stating that these horrible events will give the jurors much more reason to arrive at a guilty verdict even though they are not related to the evidence at hand. See if you can follow this:
1) A jury acquitted Avila of sexual molestation charges several years ago. The Westerfield jury knows all about it because they weren't sequestered
2) Avila has been arrested for the brutal slaying of Samantha Runion, and the sheriff announces he's "100% sure" Avila is the perpetrator.
3) This jury will think, "We can't take a chance of letting something like that happen again -- let's vote guilty and let him worry about the appeal."
If you don't understand that line of reasoning, you are thick as a brick.
