Well, I dont need an elaborate space heater, as its just for taking the chill out of the room, not for constant use, or the primary heat source...

I bet there are lots and lots of space heaters out there, and we will just look around, whenever we have some time....

The main thing that gets cold is my feet...and I hate to wear socks...always have...for some reason I feel like I am suffocating when I wear socks...even when I am up and about, I just hate to wear socks...

My mom was always cold, and wore two pairs of socks all the time...when she went to bed at night, she always wore socks, and then had me tuck her feet in tight, under the blankets....I could not sleep like that...then as her Alzheimers got worse, she insisted on wearing a knit wool hat to bed at night...

She used to see newborn babies, wearing those little knit hats, and the explanation given, was that heat leaves the body through the head, and keeping those little hats on babies, kept them warmer....so mom thought that would work for her as well....it never dawned on her, that babies, who had no hair, needed those little caps...mom always had a big head of thick curly hair....but talking to her was to no avail...

So at night, there she was, wearing a thick flannel nightie, with a heavy sweater, wearing 2 pairs of socks, and a thick wool hat on her head, and then covered over with 2 quilts...I dont know how she could sleep like that, but she did, and claimed she was quite comfy...to each their own, I always say...

Me, I rarely use more than one blanket ever, and sleep with my bare feet sticking out of the blankets...

But once I am up, that is when I feel cold....dang, my feet were frozen, but warmed up once I wrapped them up in a quilt...so now I feel like I am suffocating...should I have cold feet, or feel like I am suffocating....

I guess this space heater is the answer for me...
