Howdy All...just got back from grocery shopping, and hauling in all the crap, and putting everything away....what a pain....

Gran....your pics are just grand, and your home is something to really show off...I love the pic of Chloe being held, as she surveys the beach....

Neets....time sure is a fuuny thing...doing things you dont like, and time stalls...doing the things you love, and time flies away....

AC....your pics are amazing...going to check out your album later...love that lighthouse...

Habs...stay away from all that stagnant heat...we dont want you to melt...

Loddy...Thats so funny about the El Rancho Motel...on most of our road trips and vacations, we always camped in our tent..but when we drove down from Washington to California, to have Michaels funeral in a cemetary on the California coast, we did not feel like camping, so we just stayed in motels...on the first night, when it was getting dark, we began looking for motels...Andy, who was 11 at the time, said, he did not care what motel we stayed in, so long as it was NOT called the El Rancho Motel...dont know how or why he came to the conclusion...but did you ever notice, almost every town of any size has an El Rancho Motel? I have a snapshot of myself, as a kid, standing in front of a motel, somewhere, called the El Rancho Motel...I bet thats the most popular name of independent motels..

Palo, I bet Miss Lulu is sooo happy, now that she has a large Krafts Singles supply....Young lady basset hounds need their nourishment, to keep up their hefty frames...

The 'Bisbee Basset Bar and Grill' is a fine sounding name to me......This Bisbee place is sounding more and more enchanting...

Well, I better go and start getting BigDoms dinner ready, and pack his lunch for this evening...todays menu is roast chicken, stuffing, cranberry, and green beans...for lunch along with his fruit and other goodies, will be an Italian salami sandwich....

Being as we get up at such odd hours, we never do have our bacon and eggs and traditional breakfast foods during the week...there isnt time...BigDom just has OJ and yogurt when he wakes up, followed by coffee, and then an hour later, he eats dinner, and eats lunch in the middle of the night...its all so confusing for us graveyard shift workers...

But on the weekends, we usually make up for it, by being more leisurely and having a big breakfast in the middle of the afternoon, and eating dinner at 10pm...

Our mealtimes are really all a mess, they way they are shifted around...

Good report on the start to a fine day.

I'd not thought of it, but you and Andy are correct about the unbelievable profileration of El Rancho Motels - they're everywhere. Though the one in Bisbee with data ports and direct phones sounds a cut above the rest. Mrs. lodwick told me I'd have to wait until she was dead before moving to AZ - we'll see. There's no guarantee when our time here is up. My father had everything arranged for him to go first, but that was not the way the Book was written.
