Well, I looked at the places for sale, and if I could have my pick, I would want the firehouse/city hall....I have seen old fire houses converted into homes, and I just love them....so that is what I want...had I won Washington states lottery(30mil), then I would be moving to Brisbee, and purchasing that fire house...
Given that I did not win, and am still in our present financial situation, I will not be able to just yet move to Brisbee...sure is fun dreaming like this...
Sometimes BigDom and I go up to Tacoma, for a swell steak and fine freshly brewed Micro brew beers....its called the Engine House, and indeed, I do believe it used to be an old firehouse....
To me, there is just something charming and fun about living in an old converted firehouse..

Food:
The scent of garlic, wafting from the kitchen, is one clue that the pizzas here, like the Milton Tavern's pies, are really quite good. Other items are also popular, including some good sandwiches, salads, and other pub fare.
Atmosphere:
Excellent conversion of former fire-station house into a fine pub. Nicely done interior, spacious without being cavernous, and the location makes this a very nice neighbourhood kind of place. The bar is sort of hidden away in the back, although easy enough to find, and well worth it, too, for the great selection and friendly service. The success of the E9, including its conversion to a brewpub, has resulted in the opening of an affiliated brewpub in Puyallup, the Powerhouse, also worth a visit.
Smoking Policy:
Allowed only in on the front patio; otherwise, pub is non-smoking.
Happy Hour, Specials:
Noted on whiteboard at the entryway, including food items.
Special Events:
As noted on flyers, and as posted.
Parking Situation:
Three parking lots are available, one on either side of the building, plus another one situated across the street, designated by a sign for patrons of the E9. On-street parking is also plentiful.
I can see why you love # 9. Excellent.
