I have heard about that Bloomin' Onion, and have seen it in commercials...it looks like it would be great...

We just had steak the other day...its always yummy at home, you are right...but I notice that Outback also has Prime Rib, which is my all time favorite...

That is what we used to like about that Prime Connection restaurant near us...they had the best Prime Rib, and had it in about five sizes....they always had it in a very small size, for the seniors who made it in for the early bird special...then they had three in between sizes, and then they had a super duper giant sized prime rib....not too many people ordered that as it was just so big...

But our Andy is a big, big boy, and can really eat well...so when we took him there the first time, he ordered the big super duper size Prime Rib....

When the waitress came over with our food, she drove it on her cart...and dished out all the dishes, except for the super duper sized Prime Rib for Andy....

She had it on the bottom of the cart, and when she bent down to get it, she moaned and groaned, pretending that his Prime Rib was so big and heavy, she could hardly lift it off of the cart...it was so funny....

I dont think she believed that someone could finish that thing off...but Andy, as I said, is a big, big boy, and rarely does he leave anything on his plate...he downed that Prime Rib in easy fashion....no wonder it cost me a small fortune to feed that boy...

When Andy went away to college, Cornell actually had fairly good and decent food service which they provided the students...and you could get as much as you wanted...but when Andy did his third year in England, Imperial College did not allow second or third servings...and they gave each student the same portions....

Now one time, Andy all 6'5" of him, was in line next to a wee lass, of probably no more than 5'2"...and the food service person gave them each exactly the same meal, same potions...poor Andy just could not take it any longer, and he burst into a tirade about the school not feeding him enough for the money he was paying...I had to keep putting money into his checking account here, so that he could access it over in England, and then thankfully there was actually a Safeway store there, where he would go to buy extra food to fill up on...poor Andy, arguing with the British, about how much the American participation in WW11 contributed to the winning of that war for the Allies, and having to argue with them about feeding him properly...

Sometimes I think the British were glad to get rid of Andy...

Having dined in some English institutions, Andy was better off going hungry ;-)

I heard a story about a hockey player named Mike Keane who ate a 62oz steak in one sitting, and got it free. He's 5'10,190...but the owners thought there was no way he could do it.They guesses wrong.Funny, I used to read about some guys that played on the KC Chiefs in the '60's and '70's that would go to a local all you can eat brunch for $6.99 and clean the joint out. They had to get thrown out!!
