Thanks for that ping about the Outback Steakhouse....BigDom and I had a favorite steak house here in Olympia, called the Prime Rib...they were so excellent, and so popular...unfortunately the owner retired about two years ago, and the restaurant closed....BigDom and I were so saddened by this...not only was it an excellent place to dine, it was 10 minutes from home....

We then found another restaurant down in the Port of Olympia, which is also another excellent restaurant, for big, juicy wonderful steaks, and select seafood...

My son, tho, recommended that we try the Outback Steakhouse, which is over on the west side of Olympia...a little more travel time, but the son assured us some time ago, that it was an excellent place to get a great steak dinner...

He recommended us to the Outback a few months ago, as he knows how much we enjoy going out for great steaks...now this story just provided more incentive for us to give the Outback Steakhouse a try....

Thanks for that well needed ping and push for us to venture to Outback...I also checked their website, and their menu, and notice that they have many great beers to sample...BigDom will approve of that...

They also have a specialty appetizer called a Bloomin' Onion, which is a vidalia onion that has been breaded and deep fried and it puffs up like a peony flower.It's a keeper :-)

Best steak in the world is always right at home, though ;-)
