Is it just me, or has getting the bills done on time seemed less and less important since 9.11?

There is no longer any sense of urgency here anymore. They all get paid, but more and more it's when I feel like it - which is not necessarily the same as the due date. ;-)

Raising my hand, agreeing 100% with you.....somehow getting the water bill sent out, or the phone or electic bill, just does not seem greatly important, in the grand scheme of things....

Of course, I would be greatly upset, should I be in the shower and my water all of a sudden cuts off...luckily around here, should you lapse on your utility bills, they usually gave you fair warning....

I must admit, in our house, I am lax about these things...However BigDom is a stickler for these things....I think all his years of military training, have made him be more circumspect than I...

Yea..I relate to that utitility thing Loddy...my long distance is now Kapooie coz I forgot the last bill....but I am GLAD in a way coz now my daughter can't run it up again...till i decide to reconnect.
