I do understand about people keeping an eye on things and reporting in things that might make us suspect someone is a terrorist or a child abuctor.

I don't think this is that different from what people do everyday. Doesn't everyone have a neighbor who seems to know everybodies business? It seems like alot of people will see somebody doing something they know is illegal, but will turn the other cheek, think that it is not important, or just don't want to get involved.

Personally, I watch all my neighbors and assume they are drug dealers until proven otherwise. My husband and I are convinced that we are going to see one of our neighbors on America's Most Wanted someday. We don't live in a bad neighborhood or anything, but I am keeping my eyes on everybody just in case.

I just re-read my post! I am such a huge nerd.

Over the weekend I saw a show about John Walsh on MSNBC. I had no idea that a man (I use the term 'man' loosely, he was in prision for raping and killing 5 other children) had confessed to killing his son, retracted the confession, then sent letters to him demanding $5000 to tell him where the rest of Adam was buried. There is a special place in hell for sick bastards like that.
