What I am waiting for is the ability to edit my message. JimRob's counterpart across the pond has this.

 

No matter how many times I try to proof it, there is always something like:

 

Go create an forum message...

 

Instead of

 

To create a forum message...

 

Some day, they will create a spell check that knows what I mean, rather than what I say.

What I am waiting for is the ability to edit my message.

There are pros and cons to having such abilities. My personal preference would be to have the system allow edits but have a publically-available "edit log", so that authors who said something which would not be useful to readers of the thread could adjust their writings to be more suitable, but anyone who wanted to could see what they'd originally written.
