. The Egyptian civilization, which we know, had very close ties the Hebrews going way back and the majority of the tribes of North America.

Do you agree that the prefix McXxxx in Irish and Scottish names originates from an Egyptian word Meka(sp?) meaning "king"?

I don't know. But it certainly is easy enough to trace the Scots ("succoths") as Israelites who came from Egypt, along with most of the rest of Northern and Western Europe.

Could but I keep on coming back to the religious differences. The Celtic religion is so opposite from the Judaic philosophy. Of course, according to the Bible, Northern Tribes had become very pagan which was why the Assyrian were allowed to overrun them. Those who still followed JHVH would have fled south to Judah where worship continued if not with the same fervor as before. After the conquest it would have been possible for what remained to be totally stamped out.

The Assyrian and Celtic religions do share a few traits such as a triune or three faced god and goddess and some rather interesting fertility rituals but how much direct relationship there is between the two is not totally clear.
