I think Noah's Flood was the Black Sea flood and that is dated at 7,600 years ago. (Noah's Flood,Ryan & Pittman). I suspect that a lot of the dates we have accepted as correct are in fact wrong and should all be further back in the past. I read sometime ago that one guy thinks the dating problem is directly related to errors in the dating of the Egyptian 'Kings List.'

Plato said there had been many floods. I made a mistake, by the way. If the Exodus was 1560 B.C., then Noah's flood was ~2352 B.C. (not 2200 BC.)according to what I was thinking.

Lots of ideas and dates:

"THE 1,200 BC STRIKE- Swarm B - 3,200 YA

(4) MOSES' COMET - 7 July 1999

An Impact, Plus a Volcano, May Have Battered Biblical Egypt
Moses called down a host of calamities upon Egypt until the pharaoh finally freed the Israelites. Perhaps he had the help of a comet impact coupled with a volcano. The Exodus story is traditionally dated to either the thirteenth or fifteenth century B.C.
The Exodus story includes dust, several days of darkness, hail, dead fish, undrinkable water, cattle killed by hail, water breaking out of rocks, the earth opening, the sea parting as in a tsunami, and so on.
