Not that I know of. God said Jeremiah would go to a land that he "knew not". He had to go somewhere after Egypt, because Egypt was well known.

A "land that he knew not" could also be interpreted, as a foreign land not previously visited by him. And Ireland was known of. Trade was going on between the Isles and the East from the Bronze Age onward.
