Memo to self: Never get into a beer drinking contest with Mom or Dom.

Sounds to me like you guys had a superior type Saturday for yourselves. Ray's dining arrangement sounds like a cruise ship. I discovered that one does not have to dress up and join the Captain and his gazillion guests for the formal meal. I prefer to head to the upper club area, pick and choose from two menus while watching the entertainment of the evening. Sometimes stand-up comedy, or a singer, or a band some evenings.

I honestly believe that I could happily live forever on a cruise ship with all the pampering, entertainment, work-out and massage rooms, all the interesting people from around the world to meet - just about the perfect way to live. All they'd have to add is high speed internet access to make it heaven for me.

We have never been on a cruise, but do plan to...

Dom has his aunt and uncle who live in Florida...and a couple times a year, they take cruises, and just love them...they have been around the world, and into so many interesting places...they plan to spend all their money before they die, and I say, good going...they never had any children, so Dom, and one other cousin that they love dearly, have already been warned that altho they are the two principal heirs of the aunt and uncles estate, dont expect much cash to be left, as cruising around is their favorite pastime...

We say, hey, go for it, enjoy your lives, dont worry about us...(there are a bunch of other neer do well cousins, who dont like them taking all those cruises, as they whine that eats into the aunt and uncles money, and leaves less for inheritance...little do these schmucks know, that they are not even included in the aunt and uncles will)...

Dom and I laugh, that the aunt always wears her gold and silver shoes on these cruises....so when we get to be senior citizens, and go on these cruises, I need to get myself some gold and silver slippers...

I dont know why we have never taken any cruises, just never go around to it I guess...I did notice, when we were down at one far end of the Wharf, there were tons and tons of people going to and from many different cruise lines...lots and lots of cruises go out of Seattle, so maybe soon we should check into it....

Yes, Dom and I can drink lots of beer, tho Dom is the champ...I do not know how he can drink as much as he does, and remain sober...its a mystery....he has always enjoyed his beer...very, very rarely will he drink wine or mixed drinks....they just dont appeal to him...but he loves trying out new beers that he has never had before...

That is one thing he looks forward to when retired...traveling around the country, finding small little local breweries, finding local beers, hes never heard of...
