Howdy all, I have finally returned...we got back a few hours ago, but have been busy unpacking, and putting our purchases away, and of course, Mr. Dizzy, does not want me to leave his side, poor guy...he was lonely, and mad, and of course, he pooped once on the bed...thats to let us know hes really angry with us...
OneidaM...so sorry to hear about Miss Minnie, and I know it broke your heart...but as she herself showed you at the vet, it was time for her to leave...animals just know when they have had enough...Bless her dear sweet doggie heart, she was your best buddy, and she of course, thanks you for releasing her, to be free to be well again...in spirit, she sits by your side, and she loves you so for what you have done for her, in her life, filled with reciprocating love...Prayers, and good thoughts go out to you, to your mom, and your family for your loss...Miss Minnie is in Gods care, as we all shall be some day...
Lodwick..thanks for all those basset pics...especially the cutie standing in front of the fan...with those big ole Dumbo ears, he could almost fly....
Grannie9...your pics are wonderful, especially Brutus, hes quite the handsome guy...
AC.,...very interesting about the ancient and old washing machines...you know, back in Chicago, at the Museum of Science and Industry, they have a whole room, dedicated to nothing but old washing machines, with real old washing macines, for ones view pleasure...I remember seeing those when I was a small girl, and my mom showed me the ancient relic, my grandmother used, and I also recognized the relic my mom used in the basement, the old metal wringer washinger...
Palo, so you have become a nun, known as the shy and retiring Sister Palo...why dont I believe that? Sorry its been so hot there, but glad that you did receive a little rain...thats so funny, about your wanting to discuss things with a French general, and Bill refusing to drive you there...he does not want to have to bail you out of the brig.....
All....Well, we had a wonderful few days up in Seattle, a mini vacation, which ended way too fast...nothing extemely odd or spectacular happened, but there were some very interesting things that we saw, and interesting people we met, but Lordee, I am so tired, from all the fun and adventuure, I am too tired to go into it all today...tomorrow will be soon enough....We did however, drink, and eat, and tour and drink, and shop and drink, and sit out under the stars and drink....Ah, it was grand...
