Daily Prayer Thread 7/10/02

I'm sorry I haven't been able to post regarding my missing grandson. His father showed up to court withOUT the baby, but the judge made him go bring the baby, ASAP. To our disappointment, the judge order joint custody until the actual divorce court. So my daughter will have the baby for 7 days and then the "dad" will get him back for 7 days.

My daughter is going thur a very difficult time time right now.
The soon to be EX, is living with his girlfriend, and her children, and he reminds my daughter of this every chance he gets.

Praise the Lord, she has found work. She is looking for a car and a home for her and the children. She is in need of alot of help and prayers. She needs to be strong, and have peace. Please continue your prayers for her and the baby and the other children. Thank you all so much.

I faced a similar situation with my daughters and my ex many years ago. In our case though, I was awarded sole custody with supervised visitation after he failed to appear for joint counseling sessions. In time, the effort to see the girls was too much, and he just faded into oblivion. He hasn't see my daughters for about 12 years.

The Lord is able, and has your grandson's best interests at heart...watch for a "creative" solution from Him to your problems. :)

Father, thank You for caring so deeply about us. Thank You for taking the time to hear and answer our unending pleas for help and comfort.

Forgive us for the times that we forget You are on our side and are truly the Great Shepherd...ever watchful as You jealously guard Your flocks. Remember our human frailties, Mighty Father, and allow us to rely upon Your strength alone for deliverance from troubles and anxieties. It is only through Your might and strength that we, and all those we love, continue to exist. Help us to glimpse the truth and magnitude of Your Lordship, so we may laugh at fleeting doubts. Let Your Spirit descend on each of us to fill our hearts with joy at the complete provision You provide each and every day, and let us know with deep awareness the certainty that we will continue to exist with You forever as Your treasured children.

Father, I ask that You release the answers to every request mentioned within our prayer threads. Pour out Your blessings upon us from Your limitless bounty, and do not forget the smallest of requests. Remember, guard and guide each of our loved ones - let not even one precious soul escape Your grasp. Return loved ones that have been absent, and guide their footsteps so that their journeys will be short. Heal those of us who have been abused, and release the inner joy that has lain dormant for years. Let love flow and grow wherever it exists, and let hope and faith abound so that all who know us marvel and yearn to know the truth about You. Give us the voices and words we need to minister to such dear souls, Father, and open their ears that they too will rejoice and embrace You and Your loving kindness. Reach into their hearts and light an unquenchable fire and thirst for You.

Thank You, Father! I ask these things in the precious name of Your Son, for Your glory and undending honor...Amen!
