Yes, it's finished and I have submitted queries forever and a day. It's a hard row to hoe. I've been told by agents that my writing compares to Nicholas Sparks and John Grishom, only to then be told they don't like those authors. The biggest problem is getting the agents to read the whole story. One of the best things about it is that it seems very predictable in the beginning, but then takes the reader down a number of unexpected roads. Problem is, the agents only want to read the first part, so they never give it a real chance.
