I saw Memento and I did not catch on to it till it was almost half over. Same with that Travolta comeback film a few years ago-did not have a clue that the scenes were all mixed up. I am just an old fashioned gal that likes a beginning, middle and end. Although I do like quirky endings. I.E. Just love Mamet (not sure of spelling) films, his last one being the Heist. He writes and directs all his movies so there is usually a 2 or 3 year gap in between.

Just love Mamet (not sure of spelling) films, his last one being the Heist. He writes and directs all his movies so there is usually a 2 or 3 year gap in between. It's spelled right. "State and Main" is a great Mamet film. I really enjoyed it. It has an all-star cast including FReeper pariah Alec Baldwin but I liked it nonetheless.
FWIW, while I disagree with Baldwin's politics I do think he is an excellent actor. His monologue in Mamet's "Glengarry Glen Ross" was an acting triumph.
