Mr. Betty came home at noon and then wisked me and our son off to go jet skiing. There was no talking him out of it. We had 5 whole hours in a row of sunshine!

What a wonderful way to spend the day! I had a water adventure this evening, not so nearly as enjoyable as yours. Tonight at dinner I was telling DH how wonderful it is that our basement never floods like our neighbors seem to. Well.... I sent my seven-year-old downstairs to get underwear out of the dryer, and the next thing I know she's telling me there is something wrong with the brown thing. I have no clue what she is trying to tell me. Then she says that round thing next to the washer is leaking water all over the basement! I go down and it is indeed a disaster! So tomorrow morning I will be on the phone with the plumber. (Sigh) I would rather be skiing.
