See "Memento." It's intense. It's confusing. It's...let me know what you think. I saw it in the theater. There was a sign saying that due to the nature of the film no one would be admitted after it starts.
Talk about a mind-f*** of a film. I walked out of the theater feeling like I got kicked in the head. I bought it on DVD but I haven't yet watched it a second time. Maybe I will tonight.

6 mos from now there will be trouble in paradise. I agree with you. Last night my grand daughter and saw something on the TV about the newly weds. I turned and looked at my grand daughter and said, "6 months. I give that marriage 6 months, that's all."
And then she'll call Lyel levitt and go off crying to him again, like she always does. What a nut case. I guess beauity and money can't give sanity, LOL.

Isn't Madonna getting ugly as she gets older? I kind of expected her to stay more attractive than this. She was soo cute when she first started, and then she started in all those werid diets and yoga. Somehow, I don't think they've help her age gracefully. Isn't she in her 40's? Come on now. When I was 40........................well you know the rest, LOL,LOL.

If you like foreign films, I'd highly recommend "Babette's Feast". We have a bunch of foreign films on our Netflix queue, but they haven't come up yet. We keep finding other movies we want to see and putting them to the top.
Two others I liked very well were "Chocolat" and "Enchanted April". We just saw "Gladiator" a couple of weeks ago; a brutal movie, but a very good one. We saw "Training Day" last week; gads but it was violent!! Gonna watch "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" and "Return of the Native" over the weekend.

I'm glad to see that "We Were Soldiers" is coming out on DVD soon. We completely missed it in the theaters. I think it must have only been here about 3 weeks, because when we finally got the chance to go see it, it was already GONE!
By the way, "Lord of the Rings" comes out on DVD on Aug. 6th. The extended version with additional footage and music comes out in Nov. We can't wait!! We're going to get it so we can see it on vacation in FL in August!!

I did enjoy Babette's Feast, also My Life as a Dog. One foreign film I did not like was "Trop Belle Pour Toi," with Gerard Depardieu. I walked out, which is something I rarely do.
