Thats great WIMom...ladders are cheap...love it...
Having had only boy children, I have no idea what it is like to raise teen-aged girls...
The teen-aged boys years were more than enough for me, thank you very much....
My husband never wanted any girls, he wanted just boys...I guess God heard his plea, as we had our two wonderful boys...
He always just said, he thought girls were more expensive, more trouble, more worries, and more exasperation than boys were...Dont know where he got his information from, as he was an only child is his family, with a half brother out there....
One of my husbands friends raised two girls...that man is now bald...he just looks at my husband and says, "You lucked out with just boys"
One of my female cousins married the first time, had a girl...her hubby left, and later on she remarried, taking her daughter into that marriage...she went on to have two more girls with her 2nd husband...
Now the 2nd husband is at home with three growing girls...I guess the teen-aged years about drove him crazy...he always complained, there is no rest in this house...four women and they all get their 'time of the month' in their own separate weeks...he thought the least they could do was coordinate their 'time of the month' to happen in just one week in one full swoop, and get it over with all at once...
But I am sure, all dads and moms love their teen-aged daughters, jsut need to outlast them...
