Even with a declaration, it wouldn't be treason.

So, even if there is an 'official' declaration of war against Iraq, supporting the enemy from within the United States is not treason if it doesn't lead to violence?

No, it's just bad free speech.

Which, as our Founders implied, should be countered by a higher quantity and quality of opposing free speech.

Actually, let me qualify my remarks in #56.

I'm only referring to speech. Taking actual action, observed by at least two people, against the United States within or without of the country, is treason in time of war.

Simply remarking you like the other side is not.
