You're right about the Noonan interview. Mr. M and I watched it earlier today and she was just spellbinding.

It's interesting, I love both Noonan and Coulter - two wildly varied personalities, but both honestly conservative to the core.
I reconcile my love for both of their styles in the following way:
Some people are called to minister to the faithful - they are cheerleaders, or uplifters, or prophets who definitively separate the wheat from the chaff - these are the Ann Coulters of the world. Then there are those who are called to minister to the yet to be converted - whose reason and gentility, solidarity and beautiful way with words work themselves into the hearts of those who long for conservatism and do not yet know it - the Peggy Noonan's of the world.
I thank God for both of them, and really believe we should add them to our daily prayer lists. They are on the front lines of the fight, but it is our prayerful support that helps hold up their arms when they grow tired and weary.
And while we're at it, could we add Kate O'Beirne and Mona Charen to that prayer list?
